A WORLD WITH PERSONALITY
More than a pretty picture.
Watch a small underwater community go about its day.
Follow their curiosity.
A playful chase. A companion crossing. A shy retreat. Fish explore their reef and sometimes trail a visiting turtle or manta ray.
Look a little closer.
A pearl clam, treasure chest, seahorse, crab, octopus, shrimp, garden eels and cuttlefish reward a patient eye.

SOME GUESTS MAKE AN ENTRANCE
Stay awhile.
See what swims by.
Dolphin pods sweep through distant water. A whale glides behind the wreck. Turtles, manta rays and jellyfish make their own appearances.
Visitors arrive occasionally. Every moment looks a little different.
A REASON TO CELEBRATE
A little seasonal sparkle.
Seventeen holiday and nature-day banners celebrate special dates, from New Year’s to Earth Day and World Oceans Day, plus the solstices and equinoxes.
They appear on their calendar dates and gently shift across the front of the aquarium.
HOW THE COVE BEGAN
We wanted to keep
the fish around.
When we heard Roku’s Aquatic Life screensaver was going away on December 1, 2026, we knew we’d miss it. We used it on every Roku in the house—even our dog loved watching the fish!
We browsed the store for a replacement, but nothing felt quite right. So we decided to make our own. And that’s how Shipwreck Cove Aquarium HD began.

BEFORE YOU DIVE IN
A few helpful details.
Does it need the internet?
Yes. Artwork downloads when needed and is cached on your device. If Roku clears that cache, the images must download again. Permanent offline use is not guaranteed.
Is this a video, a game or an aquarium I control?
It is an animated screensaver with changing paths and events. There are no aquarium controls or audio. Just let the cove unfold.
Will every visitor appear at once?
No. Events occur at different times. Promotional artwork may bring features together to show what you can discover.
Is the background moving, and does it prevent burn-in?
Yes. Everything in the aquarium moves, including the background. The background moves very slowly and subtly, so it may look still at first glance. Movement does not guarantee protection against image retention or burn-in. Follow the guidance from your TV manufacturer for screensavers and prolonged use.
What if the app is ever discontinued?
Access depends on Roku compatibility and required artwork delivery. A purchase does not guarantee lifetime availability. See our Terms of Use for removal, discontinuation and applicable remedies.
